There will be six blog posts in the Portland Series that I will be publishing over the next few weeks from when I traveled there earlier this year. I broke the posts down according to neighborhood. The first post in the series was the South Tabor neighborhood. The next post will be the Mt. Scott-Arleta neighborhood.

IMG_9256The swooping mossy green branch makes the composition of this photo interesting. I like the white brackets and trim, and the decorative black iron railing.

IMG_9257Can’t resist an adobe house. This one is unique with octagon windows, navy trim and a beautiful wooden fence to frame the property. Bonus points if you can spot the two dogs in this photo. IMG_9265The interesting roofline and siding detail caught my eye on this house.IMG_E9263I liked the pairing of the pink beige house color with the rounded hedges, very playful and soft.
